Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to every account on GPLGorilla and to every product you purchase from us. Please read them — they're written in plain English on purpose.

Account Registration

You can create one account per person. To register you must provide a real email address. Sharing one account between multiple people is allowed for an internal team — sharing credentials publicly or with unrelated third parties is not, and will lead to suspension.

You are responsible for the security of your password. Enable 2FA on your inbox at minimum; we'll add 2FA on the account itself in a future release.

Account Termination Rights

You can close your account at any time from the Settings tab; we delete the account record within 30 days. Anything you've already downloaded is yours forever — we don't retroactively reach into your hard drive.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, charge back without contacting us, or attempt to redistribute files from this service in bulk (see Acceptable Use below).

Account Inactivity

Accounts with no plan and no logins for 24 months are archived. We'll send a 30-day notice before any archival. Archived accounts can be restored on request for up to 12 months after; after that the record is permanently deleted under our retention policy.

Subscription Services

GPLGorilla plans are billed in advance for the period you select (monthly, 6 monthly, yearly, biennial, or lifetime). The exact price for your tier is shown on the pricing page.

• Plans renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel from your account.
• Cancelling stops future renewals but does not end the current period — you keep access until the period runs out.
• Refunds during a period are governed by our Refund Policy.
• Daily download / install limits apply per plan, reset each calendar day at 00:00 UTC.

Refund Policy

• Individual product purchases are non-refundable.
• Plan subscriptions are eligible for a partial refund within 7 days, prorated by how many resources you've already downloaded.

Product Authenticity and Support

Every plugin or theme distributed through GPLGorilla is the original-author file. We do not modify, repackage, or inject anything into the source — the SHA-256 you'd compute on a download from us is the same one you'd compute on a copy purchased directly from the developer.

Because we don't have an agreement with the original developers, their support channels are not extended to you through us. We provide our own support (setup help, replacement files, configuration questions) via the Support Tickets tab. If you need vendor support, you'll need to buy a license directly from the developer.

Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

• Bulk-redistribute files downloaded from us (the GPL allows it; we just don't allow it on our service — it's the difference between exercising your right under the GPL and using our infrastructure as a proxy).
• Use the platform to host or distribute anything other than the redistributed GPL files you've downloaded.
• Run automated scrapers against the catalog or API. The published REST endpoints have soft rate limits; abusing them gets your IP blocked.
• Misrepresent files you've downloaded as your own work to the original author's customers.

Limitation of Liability

GPLGorilla is provided "as is". The files we distribute are open-source software shipped by their original authors; we don't modify them and we don't warrant their fitness for any particular use. Our total liability to you is capped at the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before any claim.

Governing Law

Any dispute is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where GPLGorilla is registered.
