Lost license & password reset

If you can't log in or you've lost the license key from an older GPLGorilla install, here's the fastest way to get back in.

1. Forgot your password

From the login modal, click "Forgot password?" — we'll email a reset link to the address on file. The link is valid for 24 hours.

If you don't see the email, check your spam folder, then add [email protected] to your contacts. If it still doesn't arrive within 10 minutes, open a ticket from any device you're still signed in on, or send a message via the contact link in the footer.

2. Forgot which email you used

Send an email from any address you might have used at signup. Include:

• Your name as it appears on a receipt (we'll match against orders).
• Any order number you remember (from a confirmation email).
• Roughly when you signed up.

We'll verify identity and send the username back to a confirmed email on the account.

3. Lost the license key from a v1 install

The legacy GPLGorilla WordPress plugin asked you to paste a license key during setup. If you've lost it, you don't need to recover the exact string — once you sign in to your account on gplgorilla.com, the same plan covers any device.

The new flow works without per-install keys. Just install the latest GPLGorilla plugin on your WordPress site and sign in there with your GPLGorilla account credentials.

4. Already paid but no account?

If you paid via Stripe / PayPal but never received account-creation mail, the order is sitting in our system unmerged. Email us the receipt from the payment processor and we'll attach the order to a new account.

5. Account locked / suspended

We lock accounts that hit a hard rate limit (≥ 5x daily download quota in a single hour), chargeback without contact, or fail too many login attempts. Open a ticket from any other account or email us directly; lockouts are reviewed within one business day.
