For solo developers, freelancers, and small agencies that ships a few client sites a month, the math doesn't work. The GPL exists precisely so the math can work — it grants every user the right to redistribute. We exercise that right responsibly: we don't crack, repackage, or alter anything. We pay for one copy, redistribute the bytes, and pool the cost across many users.
